Like all the weddings I have helped create design, this particular one is the closest to my heart. It was all the more fun to organize and plan a wedding for Jessica who is a part of the Principles in Action family. For her wedding, she wanted an Rustic/Western Wedding theme for which my team and I had to be very meticulous searching for the right colors for flowers, and decor.

The ceremony was held at the Central Christian Church from where the bridal party was led to the reception: Pearl Brewery. Neither Jessica nor Issac had seen what we had seen what we had planned for them at the reception so it was quite a sentimental moment when Jessica walked in and saw the entire decor with Issac for the first time.

Fresh flowers adorned the table centerpieces illuminated by the candles encircling them. To pull up a rustic decor, the lights were dimmed and focus was kept on the tables with spotlights providing a classic finish to the entire presentation.

The feel of the decor was such that guests actually felt they were out in the wild with trees shadowing the backdrop. To brighten up the mood, the colors of the floral decor were chosen so they provide a fresh glow to the event.

Principles in Action designed a very elaborate candy buffet especially for Jessica and Issac! The ‘OK Candy Carroll’ was truly one of  a kind that we designed for them with an assortment of their favorite candies and sweets on display.Cowboy boots, hay, pop corn- every little piece of the candy buffet had a ‘Wild West’ feel to it!

The striking aspect (or rather the extremely sentimental) of the candy buffet were the centerpieces. Some of the design of the candy buffet was based on Jessica and Issac’s personal items: their cowboy boots for instance as well as other significant mementos that really outshone the rest of the decor for this happy couple!
